CEC Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Zhang Xun as Managing Director and Head of Consumer Sector, and Mr. Yuan Ye as Managing Director and Head of GP&LP Services.

Mr. Zhang Xun brings fifteen years of experience in domestic and international investment banking, with a deep focus on the consumer industry. He has extensive knowledge of various products in both domestic and international capital markets and has overseen numerous projects, including private equity financings, IPOs, refinancings, corporate bonds, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the A-share and Hong Kong stock markets. His notable projects include private equity financing and Hong Kong IPOs for Wanda Commercial Management, the sale of Yinlu by Nestle, private equity financing for Jiangxiaobai, USD-denominated bonds for Bright Group, non-public issuance and REITs for Suning, non-public issuance for Longping High-tech, major asset acquisitions and non-public issuance for Shenda Shares, and A-share IPOs for Impulse and Beingmate, among other domestic and international investment banking projects.

Before joining CEC Capital, Mr. Zhang was an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase and also held positions in the investment banking departments of Huaxing Securities, CITIC Securities, and Ping An Securities, where he specialized in the consumer industry for over a decade. Mr. Zhang holds a Master's degree in Finance from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from East China University of Science and Technology.

Mr. Yuan Ye has over ten years of experience in the private equity industry, primarily in S-fund investment and management. He is well-versed in the domestic private equity GP&LP ecosystem and has invested in more than 30 top-tier GP funds in China. He has led multiple complex S-fund transactions, including priced tender offers, portfolio transactions, structured financing, and other forms of transactions. His cumulative fund assets under management exceeds RMB 5 billion.

Before joining CEC Capital, Mr. Yuan was Managing Director at Huaxing Capital, where he led their S-fund business, establishing their investment strategy and valuation methodologies. He also worked at Gopher Asset and Five Star Holding Group, where he assisted multiple GPs in designing and implementing comprehensive equity exit plans. Mr. Yuan holds an EMBA from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
